FEELING LIKE A FRAUD? READ THIS

Today is a super emotionally charged day for me. It’s a true full circle moment and I get to share it with YOU! But before I share the big news with you, first I want to share a page from my journal from April 23, 2013.

I present, the very first edition of the Diary of A Confident Entrepreneur series for 2016:

April 23, 2013

“Sometimes, most days to be honest, I feel like a fraud. Being a certified coach, it’s easy for me to post on social media + share motivating and encouraging words.

I sell the dream, and though by all accounts I have more than I need, often times I feel like a total hack.

I’m not where I want to be financially, I’m not where I want to be spiritually, and I’m not where I want to be professionally. The bigger problem is that I’m not sure where I want to be in any of these areas – except spiritually – I know I want to step into my full power as a Christian.

I read somewhere that the ideal income for maximum happiness is $200,000 per person. That sounds great, but I can’t envision the lifestyle of a person who makes $200k per year…Sometimes I feel like such a fraud – in fact, there are some days (the really tough days) when I think, ‘Maybe I should quit.’

So what do I do? I don’t flipping know!”

When I wrote that entry I was entering my 2nd year in business. I don’t remember writing that entry, but I remember feeling those feelings. The struggle was real.

I remember how much I struggled to earn a consistent income.

I remember the jealousy and bitterness I felt when I saw other coaches in my space sharing their wins.

I remember crying my eyes out (in silence, in the bathroom, so my husband and children wouldn’t hear) thinking I should quit.

I’m really glad I didn’t quit.

If I had quit then, I wouldn’t be able to share one of the most exciting, full circle moments in business to date. I wouldn’t be able to tell you that after having a record shattering December (I generated over $53,000 in revenue last month), I was invited to be a guest on Amy Porterfield’s podcast, Online Marketing Made Easy.

And today, that episode is LIVE. Amy’s podcast is one I’ve listened to almost religiously for the last year and a half. I have a special folder on my desktop exclusively for the cheatsheets and PDFs she offers along with nearly every episode.

This week, I’m the one who created the PDF she’s giving away! This week I get to share with you and all of Amy’s people how to have a successful run as an affiliate partner. But most importantly, I hopethat by being a guest on Amy’s podcast, Online Marketing Made Easy, I’ll be able to inspire you to keep going!

Especially if you’re where I was a few years ago, feeling like a fraud, full of doubt and considering giving up, I hope you’ll be encouraged to keep going this year. You’re so much closer than you think.

grab the PDF starter guide I shared and listen to the episode. I would love to hear back from you and know what you thought of our interview.

Stay tuned next week when I’ll be giving you the step-by-step on how I was able to keep my business going even after my website was hacked. I’ll also be sharing a behind-the-scenes snippet on how I started my business.

Sending you lots of love and confidence,

RACHEL
